What is Mortgage Law?

Borrowers are obligated to repay the loan, maintain the property, and insure it, while lenders must act fairly and disclose clear loan terms. What is Insolvency?

In such cases, formal insolvency procedures may be initiated under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), including voluntary administration, liquidation, or receivership. For individuals, personal insolvency may involve bankruptcy proceedings under the Bankruptcy Act 1966 (Cth). Insolvency is a serious legal and financial condition that can lead to loss of control over assets, legal actions from creditors, and long-term impacts on creditworthiness. The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) oversees corporate insolvency, while the Australian Financial Security Authority (AFSA) manages personal insolvency matters.
